Success Story

Tribal are normally shy in nature Tribal are normally shy in nature and they prefer to be away from the civilization, moreover they have greater impact of stigma and discrimination, which made them to keep away from the society. They never come out for claiming their entitlements and moreover they are exploited like anything by the middlemen in all aspects, right from land holdings, purchase of produce, access to Government schemes and also sexually.

We have conducted training programs on the Government schemes and services available to tribal. Apart from that the youth (passed X grade) were trained on the acts and rights for preventing the community from exploitation. They were also trained on RTI Act (Right to Information Act).

A trained youth facilitates the community by supporting in getting entitlements. He/She are also utilizing the acts meant for the community to avoid exploitation. Community is well aware of Welfare schemes and also enjoying them.
