Success Story

Mrs. Jeyamary, aged 76, Sivagangai district, is one of our beneficiaries. Mrs. Jeyamary, aged 76, Sivagangai district, is one of our beneficiaries. She has no children to support her. 10 years back she approached us to take her for a medical checkup and provide medical assistance to her.

She is affected by sugar complaint; we took her to for a medical checkup. The doctor says that she is both diabetic and has high blood pressure and cholesterol. All her tests, like blood, urine and x-ray for heart etc, were taken. With the doctor’s advice and prescription we are now sponsoring her monthly medical expense. We give her support by giving medicines only (not by cash). The medicines are given once a month.

After our intervention, she is now taking tablets as per doctor’s direction. Although she is controlling her sugar complaint, if she stops taking the medicines there is no guarantee for her life.
