Success Story

Village Women were unorganized in the villages. Village Women were unorganized in the villages. They were not aware of the issues faced by children in their schools.. But they know that there is no quality education in the schools of their tribal areas. Children are going to school but there is no home work given by Teachers. Shobha bai asked children about there home work. She enquired in one school and found that there are two teachers in Nichla goyra school but one teacher was coming only on alternate day so children were not getting their home work.

Unnati has organized 30 small groups in the area Monthly meeting are conducted regularly in the small villages. They are discussing in monthly meeting about the problems faced by the children in schools and collectively taking decision in various issues. Unnati is working in rural areas where the 100% Tribal community is residing our main Teaching how to form a group, regular meets on monthly basis, how to make action plans for their appropriate problems, how to take collective decision making in the groups.

Unnati formed the 30 groups in the villages and trained them how to start work in the group. We have trained them in 3 trainings. Women are raising child related issues of school and quality education. The Jagran group is keeping eyes on schools and visiting the schools. They are taking decisions collectively.
