Ganga, a physically challenged orphan is around 14 years of age Ganga, a physically challenged orphan is around 14 years of age and a student of grade II. He lives with his grandfather who is a peasant. The family consists of 2 sisters and 5 brothers. For the last few years he used to watch the children from outside the gate. All our efforts to get him to attend the school failed. But last year he approached us and expressed his wish to study.

Therefore we gave him admission in grade I. He is a first generation learner and as such there is no one in the family to help the boy in his studies. However the boy is quite bright and showing good progress in all the subjects specifically in the English language.

His grandfather is ambitious to make Ganga well educated and take up a good job which will change the financial condition of the family.
