Selvi is a poor person affected by loco motor disability to an extent of 50 %. Selvi is a poor person affected by loco motor disability to an extent of 50 %.. She was idle at home and was fully dependent on others for her financial requirements. She was a burden to others in the family. So she had low confidence level.

She belongs to an agricultural family. So naturally she has enough knowledge about cattle rearing. She was given two goats. She started rearing the goats. She is very much happy that her goat gave birth to a small one.

She will be getting a benefit for every six months by rearing, selling and re purchasing goats. The perception of the society on persons with disability has also changed. This has raised her self esteem and self confidence. This option will help her to achieve economical independence.
