Success Story

Sivakumar, a 11 year old boy, is studying in 6th grade. Sivakumar, a 11 year old boy, is studying in 6th grade at Government Middle School, Thiruvanaikavanpatti village in Thirunmayam Takuk, Pudukkottai District. His father Muthaiah is an agricultural coolie worker. He has two sons and one daughter. He faced difficulties to educate his children. Sivakumar is the eldest son. Sivakumar was not willing to go to school without uniform and note books.

CARD is working at Thiruvanaikavanpatti village school. Sivakumar was given two sets of uniform dresses, two pairs of foot wear, school bag, note books, educational tools, writing materials and toiletries required for one year. The burden of his father was reduced. Sivakumar is very happy.

After this support, Sivakumar has been attending the school neatly and regularly. He studies well. The toiletries provided by CARD were very useful for him. His parents were motivated to send Sivakumar for school regularly. He is taking good marks in the examinations.
