Vinayaka Gnana Vidya Shala,(VGVS) Mullur caters to the educational needs of 9 villages. Vinayaka Gnana Vidya Shala,(VGVS) Mullur caters to the educational needs of 9 villages. It has classes from LKG to Std. X . This school emphasises on giving ‘Quality Education’ and ‘all round development of the rural child’ . There are over 400 students and most of the children come from economically deprieved families. The Chairman of the organisation is of the strong belief that if opportunity is given to the rural children, they can fare far better than the urban children. This has been proved right, as VGVS has been getting above 94% results in Std. X from the past 6 years. Kumari Siddaraji is from; Devagalli village which is 1 ½ Kms. away from Mullur. Her father works as casual labourer and has studied only upto IV std. Her mother is illeterate. They had a dream of getting their only daughter educated, but because of poverty, they could not send their daughter to school .

The neighbor of Siddaraji informed her father that if they approached VGVS, Mullur, they would be assisted by the school. Her father approached the head master and luckily she was selected as one of the beneficiary to help poor children for education funded by GiveIndia donors. She was helped by GIVE India for 4 years and now she is in STd.VI. She is a very bright and active student and is a topper is her class.

Now Siddaraji is studying in class VI at a school that is near to her house and provides quality education. She is studying like any other child in the village and her parents are grateful to the gentleman for giving a new direction to their daughters life. They can finally see a dream come true, which would otherwise not have happened. Her mother says I do not know how to thank the organisation which has fulfilled the dream of seeing my daughter getting educated. If it was not for the help from VGVS and GIVE, my daughter would have become an illiterate like me and would be working as casual labourer like me.
