Mrs. Baby is aged 35 yrs. Mrs. Baby is aged 35 yrs. She was not able to talk, walk and swallow even water. There was swelling in her face and the tongue was outside. There was bad smell coming out of her mouth. This particular therapy Dialysis is also called End stage renal maintenance. Just to maintain the renal status from total failure and the only possible solution is renal transplantation which is a costly procedure and riddled with ethical and renal compatibility issues.

She consulted the Nephrology department. Haemodialysis treatment at our hospital was advised. The patient was counseled and initial procedure to perform Haemodialysis was done. First sitting was done on 5th June 2009.

Even maintenance procedure is costly and rich patients too end up poor. The patient Mrs. Baby a poor patient, owing to continued neglect of her renal status reported in a very bad condition, suffering from breathing problems. The procedure virtually saved the patient from jaws of death.
