Success Story

Rehel lives in a small tribal village, by name, Theegalamada in Anathagiri Mandal of Visakhapatnam District in Andhra Pradesh. She is 7 years old. There is sling vision during bright day light. She lost her both parents when she was three years old. Since then she was living under the care of her old grandmother. Her health is also not good at present and there are no any assets to help the young child to survive. Most days the old woman and the child starve.

We took her into our Campus Challenge (Centre for Children with disabilties) in the first week of February 2010. She is now living in a nice home under the support of a cariing care-taker-mother. She is now going to bridge school on campus will in time be sent to ARDAR Public School. She is under the care of a Medical Officer.

The child is now happy and independent. She is now taking both normal education and also learning braile. She will be shown next month to an eye specilist. She will be taken care until she settles in life.
