Success Story

Swapnil is a 15 year old boy Swapnil, a 15 year old boy, hails from a family wrought with burgeoning debts. In the context of a petty fight, Swapnil was sent to the Children home. Upon his discharge from the home, Sahaara staff visited his family. Swapnil was traumatized by his stint in the home. To add to his trauma, his father who was not keeping well suddenly passed away and this further weighed him down. Fatherless and virtually penniless, his family decided to discontinue his education.

Sahaara staff counseled and encouraged his family members to continue his education. Financial support was provided to enable him to appear for the Board examinations. Through the tumultuous phase, he was helped to stay motivated to do well in his examinations. Swapnil cleared the examinations with flying colours, securing 78%!

Swapnil applied for a seat in one of the most prestigious colleges in Mumbai (St Xaviers College) and was absolutely delighted to gain admission therein! He is currently pursuing his studies in the Science stream with renewed ambition and vigour.
