Success Story

Nilavya is the 2nd child of Rudrayya Hiremath. Nilavya is the 2nd child of Rudrayya Hiremath. She was malnourished, weighed 4 1/2 kilos. She was anaemic and had a cogenital deformity in her right year. Her parents owned 1/2 an acre of arid land and were migrant unskilled labourers.

We got her checked by a paediatrician. She was de-wormed and high protein food and medicines (Albindozole, cough syrup and Vit. B complex) were given to her. The parents were instructed on how to look after her.

Her parents have taken care of her. She now weighs six and a half kilos, with glowing skin and no pot belly. Our field volunteers are monitoring her progress.
