Shiv Ratan Sharma a 22year old poverty stricken ex- prisoner Shiv Ratan Sharma a 22year old poverty stricken ex- prisoner hails from a small village of UP. He was very weak due to lack of adequate nutrition - sometimes only one meal a day. Shiv was also prone to frequent illnesses.

Sahaara staff met him during his stint in prison. With counseling, Shiv demonstrated a willingness to turn over a new leaf in his life. Upon his release, being destitute and weak, Sahaara invited him to join Mukti Niwas (Place of freedom). He was provided with wholesome nutrition - three well balanced meals a day. They carry packed lunch every day.

Shiv has gained physical strength and his health has improved immensely with the wholesome nutrition at Mukti Niwas. He no longer falls sick frequently. He has gained employment as well and has become a positive contributor to society. Thank you for your kind contribution that has helped accomplish this change in his life!
