Success Story

Rudramma is one of the active beneficiaries of GRAMA.

Rudramma is one of the active beneficiaries of GRAMA. She is active member of Dayananda Woman self help group. She is illiterate, married and has three children. Family is poor and she struggled to find employment to meet basic needs of children and family members namely Education. Nutrition, Health care and clothing. Rudramma was interested in flower selling business but had no capital.

GRAMA requested Vishwas trust to conduct three days Entrepreneurship Training and one day follow-up training for 40 beneficiaries of selected self help groups. Entrepreneurship training conducted and certificate given helped Rudramma to acquire entrepreneurship and business skills. Vishwas trust also conducted 4 business counseling sessions that included business plan preparation for financial mobilization. The said training helped her to initiate & undertake flower selling business.
Vishwas trust established I Create Memorial Fund with initial corpus of Rs one lakh and twenty five thousand only & with matching contribution from the partner NGO GRAMA. Rs 10000-/- only as seed capital was given to Rudramma from the said corpus. Rudramma started flower selling business in Nayakanahatti and surrounding villages. She is now socio economically empowered
