Ravinder walia was admitted in our Institution in the year June 1991. He received training in various skills such as personal independence, socialization, functional academics, and extra curricular activities. He had joined us when he was 18; we started training him in embroidery, weaving, candle making and other vocational skill.

The skills he learnt at the centre helped in developing work readiness skills such as neatness, sitting at a stretch till job completion, inter personal relationship, traveling skills etc. He is now employed in a small factory. This may not be a highly paid job but is enough to boost his confidence, keep him occupied and make him partially economically independent.
