Success Story

We work with poor and needy PLHAs on legal support to poor and needy people in the West Godavari District. We work with poor and needy PLHAs on legal support to poor and needy people in the West Godavari District. At present they are suffering and lack legal services because they are economically poor. The Legal Aid Program has been started with a view to help the needy and poor and also PLHAs to give Legal Aid.

A Committee with 3 Advocates has been formed for Legal Aid Programme. Poor people are afraid to go to lawyers because they are expensive. The Legal Aid programme works not only with the PLHAs but also needy and poor women who really need the help.

KRDSO has 4 cases under process and 2 cases that have been solved - Bhavani a poor girl who suffered harassment from her husband and in-laws. She went the police station many times but she did not get any help. We settled the matter amicably and now she is happy.
