Success Story

Bublu came into our care on 16th Jaunary 2009. Bublu came into our care on 16th Jaunary 2009. He was a pre term baby with respiratory distress syndorm and gastric outlet obstruction. His birth mother had a severe kidney dysfunction and his condition could have been genetic.

Bublu was admitted in hospital and was in NICU, an immediate Pyloroplasty was done. In NICU baby was intubated and put on SIMV mode of ventilation. Initial septic workup was done and IV fluids and IV antibiotics were given. Baby was on IV fluids till 21 days. He was shifted to ward and came to Vathsalya on the doctor’s advise. However this child was hospitalised several times during his early months for various conditions including brethlessness, dehydration.

After several months of intensive care both at the hospital and at the centre and now in foster care Bublu is doing well. His foster family dotes on him and he is very attached with them. He has gained weight and his growth and development are within normal limits. He has been matched with a loving couple who will take him in adoption.
