Shushma Kumari, 16 year belongs to an extremely poor village Shigriyama, Shushma Kumari, 16 year belongs to an extremely poor village Shigriyama, P.S - Sajahapur, Patna. Her father is a Carpenter and due to lack of resources is living in a rented house. Her family is a big nine member family. She has 7 brothers and a sister and one brother is dumb and Sushma was the most intelligent and determined towards her studies. This can be very well understood that she daily used to cover 5 km up and down journey to school on her foot. Currently she is in grade 11 at Shri Raghunath Balika Uchh Vidyalaya, Kankarbagh Patna and she wishes to continue up her studies neglecting the very long challenging 5 kilometers way that she daily uses to cover on her foot

When ADD fortunately came to know about the poor girl, it provided her with a new Avon bicycle (bicycle no.10B.701689) under its Bicycle Support For Poor School-going Girls program.

With this kind support she is now attending her school regularly without any delay. ADD wishes her a very successful bright future.
