Initially she used to accompany her mother in her work as a domestic worker but was not happy doing so.

During Diwali vacation, she has been enrolled in our craft and art classes for the adolescent girls. She has learned to make artificial jewellery and bridal Mehendi (Henna work) . She is very good at it and wants to enrol in the advanced training in jewellery making.

Pooja makes fine Jewellery during her spare time. She has many customers in her own slum community who place order with her. Pooja also wants to learn embroidery work and other art work taught in the class which is being conducted four times in a month on an ongoing basis. She is happy to help her mother in this way without affecting her education.
