Success Story

ICF has selected Adirangam village in Thiruthuraipoondi taluk to conduct the rural mobile medical camp. ICF has selected Adirangam village in Thiruthuraipoondi taluk to conduct the rural mobile medical camp. Most of the people are living under below poverty line. They are depending upon the agricultural laborers work to earn the money for their survivals. There is no proper medical centre or medical treatment facilities in and around the village. Therefore we have selected this particular village and conducted the Two Rural Mobile Health camps per month.

Our ICF Mobile Medical Team visits Adirangam village twice a month with prior publicity. We conducted Medical Camp on 14/11/2009 and 30/11/2009 in Adirangam village. 100 Patients were checked by Dr Saravanan and his staff. Necessary medical/lab examinations were done freely. BP/Sugar/Urine examinations were carried out and free medicines were distributed for 15 days to people with proper counseling.

Thanks to the fortnightly conducted medical camp, rural people could get treatment for their diseases. They remain happy and healthy with controlled sugar and blood pressure
