Success Story

Shantaben is a 75 year old widow, and resident of the village named Endhal. She lives with her five members family. Shantaben had a poor vision in her right eye since last couple of years. In consequence, she could not even do her routine activities on her own, and constantly needed somebody to help her. Shantaben came with her elder son for the check-up of her eye on March 15, 2008 with complain of dimness of vision in her right eye. She was examined by the ophthalmologist and was diagnosed of right eye cataract. Within a week, she was successfully operated by the ophthalmologist and team without any complication.

After getting operated, Shantaben came for a follow-up visit on her own without someone for help and a big smile on her face. She was happy that she could do her routine work herself. Along with Shantaben, the organisation would like to extend sincere thanks to the donor who supported her operation and gave the old woman a better life to live.
