Bharati is a resident of Vavoshi, a small village in Konkan on Khopoli Alibaug Road, Maharashtra. Bharati is a resident of Vavoshi, a small village in Konkan on Khopoli Alibaug Road, Maharashtra. She has younger brother and mentally retarded sister. Bharati comes from very poor family with both father and mother working on daily wages as labourer. The family can eat both the meals only when the parents work. She completed her 12th exam. and was looking for a job to support her family. Bhagini Nivedita Pratishthan, Pune through their contact at Vavoshi publicized about the mid nursing course which gives 100% job guarantee. Bharati was selected for the course but she could not afford to pay the livelihood expenses. BNP decided to help Bharati out of the situation and made arrangements for her stay free of cost at their Dighi hostel. With this encouragement Bharati joined the course and completed it successfully.

Bharati joined a hospital at Khopoli for her internship after completing her 6 months training. She worked very hard. Her sincerity and dedication paid her a reward in the form of a job in the same hospital, which will be a helping hand to the family. Now Bharati is a confident woman with doors of progress and career open to her. For all this transformation, she gives full credit to BNP.
