Success Story

Madanna Laxmi, 21 year old belongs to scheduled caste community and very poor family background. Madanna Laxmi, 21 year old belongs to scheduled caste community and very poor family background. Her mother, a widow works as a daily wage labour in Kurnool Market Yard. Laxmi studied up to intermediate and discontinued her studies because of poverty.

We have selected Madanna Laxmi in our target area and provided computer literacy training for one year. The topics taught by two faculties are computer fundamentals, Operating Systems, MS Office, DTP, C, Tally- Accounting package and Communication Skills. She joined the course in April 08. The lab in charge conducts practical classes and clarifies the doubts raised by the participants. Daily there are three sessions of theory classes for 3 hours and two lab sessions for 2 hours. The course is certified and recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of A.P.

After the training, Laxmi has got employment to work as DTP operator in V.L. Computers, Kurnool. Laxmi is able to get anincome of Rs.3000 per month.
