Success Story

Sameer khan (Shashi) was sent to CWC from an organization on 10th Feb,2009

Sameer khan (Shashi) was sent to CWC from an organization on 10th Feb,2009 He is from Kengeri Bangalore. He was working in a garage. Due to a small conflict among his friends, he was beaten by his friends at his work place. So he felt bad and ran away from home and landed at Bangalore city railway station. He was in CWC for 1 month. He is an orphan child, looked after by his uncle and aunt. He was scared going back to his home. CWC PO s counseled the child but the child was not convinced. He always gave wrong information regarding his name, address and parents

CWC members came to know about this when they went to home visit. So our organization approached the child for intensive counseling. After doing series of intensive counseling the child came out with the problem. He was not interested in staying with his uncle and aunt. So counselor convinced him and advised him about the reality. After the series of counseling he apologized for running away. The child was also willing to go back home and work.
Right now the child is at uncle s home working and is happy. He was home placed on 17/04/09
