Success Story

Most of this youth are unemployed and aimless whiling away their time in irrelevant matters. Most of this youth are unemployed and aimless whiling away their time in irrelevant matters. They are highly talented and eager, but do not have a platform to do so.

SAATH encouraged them to form small groups from the same locality. By understanding the problem we guided them to get attached with various programmes of Saath s Livelihood, Urban Resource Centre and Educational programmes.

The medium of sports is used as an intervention to bring the youth together. Sports is a safe banner, which brings the youth together for a larger purpose and to help them deal with other issues that they have to deal with in their daily lives. Currently youth groups are working together to bring together others from their communities and create a Youth Space within various slum areas
