Overview

The Whitefield Home accommodates 18 elderly women – from the poorer section of the society, a few with disabilities, to lead a dignified and peaceful life.

The Basics
Some of the beneficiaries are with us for more than 30 years. They were part of the Old Airport Road Home and gradually taken into the Whitefield Home. Some of them are taken into the Home through word-of-mouth or through other NGOs.
A few of the elderly women are with disability while others are aged. Some of them do have families, who visit them from time to time. But, they prefer to stay at the Home, citing their freedom and independence.
