Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, heard about her and we went to her house, counseled and motivated her and offered her support for education. Thus she was motivated, and was helped by Samarthanam and we made her qualify as a Chartered Accountant. She is, perhaps, the first visually impaired Chartered Accountant.

Soon after her completion of CA, we initially placed her in Taj Group of Hotels as Coordinator for Community Initiatives and later she has been placed in Infosys as Sr. Accounts Officer and draws a salary of Rs. 8 lacs per annum
