Success Story

Amareen and her family reside in one of the slum areas of Hubli-Dharwad. Amareen and her family reside in one of the slum areas of Hubli-Dharwad. Her father works in a garage earning a daily wage of Rs 50. Her mother is a housewife. Her parents are very keen that their children continue their education. Amareen has a stronge desire to come up in life. The barrier is the financial crunch faced by her family.

Amareen got to know about our Community Resource Centre in her area. She visited the centre and told the volunteer about her interest in acquiring knowledge about computers.

Amareen has now gained knowledge of MS Word, MS Power point, Excel and other programmes on the computer. She is grateful to Akshara s Community Resource Centre for giving her this opportunity which she otherwise could not have afforded.
