Nagamma used to feel tired and weak all the time. Nagamma used to feel tired and weak all the time. This condition had started hindering her day-to-day activities. Her blood count revealed that she was Anaemic. But she didnt have enough money to go to the doctors or for the medication.

The volunteers at IHDUA came and understood her medical reports thoroughly. They gave her a kitchen garden kit consisting of seeds of some green vegetables that she could grow in her backyard. They supplemented this kit with knowledge of using the existing local nutrients and assured her of a continued nutritious diet without having to look into her pocket.

Nagamma has been recovering with great ease, thanks to the healthy mini garden that gave her her health back. Nagamma is now assured of a healthy diet for herself and her family, all in the backyard of her house.
