Success Story

Ankit Raj is a boy with Multiple Disabilities, belonging to a lower middle class family. Ankit Raj is a boy with Multiple Disabilities, belonging to a lower middle class family. All his developmental milestones were delayed. His lower limbs not being underdeveloped, he was unable to perform physical activities without help, even to sit-up on his own. His parents had not encouraged academic pursuits for him because of his disabilities.

Ankit was admitted in our Special Education program and was also placed on extensive physiotherapy. With tremendous efforts of the multi-disciplinary team of Special Educators and Therapists, his academic abilities in reading and writing and in arithmetic developed remarkably, to qualify for special coaching program for Class-V level National Open Schooling Examination.

He successfully cleared the Class-V National Examination in 2008. His physical abilities too have improved considerably; he can now transfer from his bed or from one chair to another by himself. He is now an independent, confident and happy boy. His skills in singing and stage performances won him laurels in an inter-school event. Besides continuing his studies, he is now being trained in computers also.
