A large number of very poor patients from far-flung area like Bihar and UP, suffering from Cancer / Kidney ailments come to AIIMS, New Delhi A large number of very poor patients from far-flung area like Bihar and UP, suffering from Cancer / Kidney ailments come to AIIMS, New Delhi undergo long-term treatment and stay in the Rajgariha Vishram Sadan - a Dharamshala provided by AIIMS. The treatment of such chronic ailments financially devastates such patients as the treatment is not only very expensive but requires sustained monetary support for long periods. Ultimately such patients are unable to bear the sustained cost and give up on treatment.

SAPNA supports such Below poverty line (BPL) patients by providing medicines, blood, diagnostics,, nutrition etc. and also caters to the day to day counselling & other needs of such patients.

Every month SAPNA takes care of 5 such BPL patients who return to their native places after treatment.
