Success Story

Subhash Mandal was a boy of 9 years and has two brothers Bikash (6 years) and Rakesh (4 years). Subhash Mandal was a boy of 9 years and has two brothers Bikash (6 years) and Rakesh (4 years). His mother is a frail and emaciated widow. She lived on the footpaths of Hazra with her children. She worked as a household maid leaving her children to loiter on the streets, as there was no one to take care of them. The family usually starved and was in extremely poor and deprived condition. The children suffered from various ailments due to malnutrition.

This case was brought to us directly by the mother herself as she had heard from some people in Hazra about Parivaar. Parivaar had taken about 20 children from Hazra area and is therefore known to people there. We decided to admit all three children to Parivaar so they get a new life and bright future. The children were admitted in June 2004.

They attend our Formal School Amar Bharat Vidyapeeth. Subhash in Grade 5, Bikash in Grade 3 and Rakesh in Grade 2. Their academic performance is continuously improving. They lead a disciplined life and are undergoing overall development through education, sports, value-education, recreation and above all immense love and care. Meanwhile their mother passed away in unfortunate circumstances
