This creates unhygienic conditions often leading slum dwellers falling pray to diseases. Water borne disease is most common among them. With little guidance and creating awareness situation could be improved

We conducted a Medical camp in Oct 08 in the slums of Bhiwandi where we provided Free check up by General, Gynecologists, pediatrician & eye doctors & medicines were provided. There was encouraging response from the community. About 800 Women, Children & Senior citizens from the low income community attended & were checked up & provided with treatment

Our efforts towards organizing medical camp, has found to have not only catered to medical needs of the community but also help them to understand the civic sense by which they can on their own live in a clean environment and take a fresh breath that directly affects their health & happiness
