Janardhan,13, was an orphan who was HIV infected at birth. Janardhan,13, was an orphan who was HIV infected at birth. This boy lost both parents two years ago. He used to work as a child labourer in a hotel. He earned wages of Rs.10, not sufficient to provide him medical care leave alone education

The boy was admitted by a medico volunteer at DESIRE Society. Janardhan was given a comprehensive care and he started gaining weight.. Today, he in Grade 7 and attends school regularly. In spite of his health he has achieved more than 90% attendance and ranked in the top ten in his grade
