Success Story

Kannaiah, due to his blindness, felt extremely frustrated with his life. Kannaiah, due to his blindness, felt extremely frustrated with his life. His father was also handicapped and therefore his mother had to slog for them to get at least two meals a day. Kannaiah was given both allopathic and homeopathic treatment, but this handicap that prevailed from birth refused to show any improvement. Nobody ever thought of sending him to school.

He thought he could keep himself busy and yet become a helping hand to his mother - if only they had a cow. His mothers work was also seasonal; so a cow could help them earn their living. But that required a lot of money. PREED got to know about Kannaiah and his family and came up with a solution to most of the familys problems. It helped them buy a cow.

Kannaiahs mother who was familiar with most of the dairy activities, taught Kannaiah to take care of the cow all by himself. It gave Kannaiah the motivation to live and the cows milk gave them a means to earn their livelihood.
