Success Story

Kisan (name changed) is the eldest son of a grocer.

Kisan (name changed) is the eldest son of a grocer. At the outset of his teenage he used to help his father at the shop. This exposed him to peers involved in drinking and smoking. He funded his bad habit by stealing money from the shop. His family disowned him at the age to 20 because of his addiction and involvement in petty crimes, subsequently was in police custody & jailed. He slept on the streets.

He was admitted to the TPF de-addiction center by a recovered addict & had no money to pay for his food expenses. At TPF, due to sponsorship of food by the good-hearted people, his immediate needs are full filled. Other services like counseling, treatments, sessions and other services were provided free of cost.
Now he has completed 3 months of rehabilitation and realized his shortcomings which took him to this condition and is working on them. He decided to start one teashop after getting discharged from the center and reconcile with the family. He was thankful to his sponsors though he does not know them.
