Success Story

The Trust started its first school in Yashwant Nagar, a fast growing suburb of Sangli mainly inhabited by Sugar mill and Cotton Mill workers. The Trust started its first school in Yashwant Nagar, a fast growing suburb of Sangli mainly inhabited by Sugar mill and Cotton Mill workers. Due to non availability of schools nearby boys used to travel 8/9 KM to Sangli and girls from poor families had to sacrifice their quest for learning for their brothers or any other male member of family. Girls marriage at early age was reality and due to non availability of quality education within reach was sighted as stumbling block for many aspiring individuals.

The schools were started in the vicinity of target areas with an objective to enroll more of girl students. To attract students, every school has started different ideas like teachers visiting different areas to convince parents, providing free of cost of education as well other supports like uniforms, teaching aids and financial assistance. Every student is marked and tracked seperately with individual progress plan. Students, which required additional care were given extra coaching and assitance to ensure that they would compete equally

The change brought in by the presence of our institute can be better judged by the SSC results of our schools. Last four years , we have seen the same school has registered more than 80% success in SSC examinations and more than 20 students are scoring more than 88% of marks. The passing percentage of girls students has been very impressive and we have 90% of girls passing their SSC examinations. The education establishments started by our trust has helped many poor families realize their dreams of having educated kids and enlightened their life with social equality
