Success Story

Four-year-old Sandeep born to parents of a middle class family was diagnosed of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Four-year-old Sandeep born to parents of a middle class family was diagnosed of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He needed multiple sessions of chemotherapy and support with safe blood components - especially high quality platelets. However, the cost of the treatment was the biggest concern

Jeevan offered to provide all blood components free of any processing fee to Sandeep. He received several units of Pheresis platelets and Red Cells. Pheresis platelet is a special product donated by committed and caring blood donor in which a special equipment is used to collect one therapeutic dose of platelet from a single donor

This procedure helped exposure of Sandeep to only a few blood donors. Thanks to the support of Jeevan, altruistic blood donors and several volunteers. Sandeep completed his cylcle of treatment and is currently in remission - playing just like a four year old boy!
