He is the son of Arokia Sundari who lives in Velimangalam village. She was married to Mr. Arulvalan. She was not happy with her husband. She left her husband’s house and lived with her parents for about 5 years. In the mean time, Milton’s father married another woman. Arokia had no means to support herself and her son

Arokiasundari came to CARD’s Swadhar Shelter Home on 01.06.2006. She doesn’t want to live with her husband as he has married another lady and is living with her. CARD supported Milton doss and he joined the village school in the first standard in June 2006. He is studying well

Milton Doss is now studying in 2nd standard. His mother is undergoing pickle making and computer training at CARD. Both mother and son are provided food and accommodation in the Home
