Vasantha hails from Mandur Village of Bangalore East Taluk of Bangalore Urban District Vasantha hails from Mandur Village of Bangalore East Taluk of Bangalore Urban District. Her parents are coolie workers. She is a Hearing Impaired Child in 7th Standard in a Government Higher Primary School at Mandur. Since her parents are coolie worker, they are finding it difficult to bring up their child and educate her.

During VEDS’s survey of the disabled children in Bangalore East Taluk of Bangalore Urban District we learnt of her condition. We counseled her parents to enroll her in our facility. We assured her parents that we could help her with her disability and offer her a good education and hostel facilities

She is continuing her education. Her parents are happy that their daughter is doing well in her studies. Vasantha is a role model for other disabled children who want to succeed in their lives
