The high expense of dropping and picking him up from the centre, keep his family from sending him regularly to Diya. The story is similar for Sophie, Sowmya, Selvi, Leo John, Sudhir, Jiju, Nelson, Nigel, Navita, Bhuvana and Melvin. All of them clamor to go to Diya but the high cost of transport make their families helpless in the matter

Diya has been donated a van to transport the trainees to and from the centre. This ensures that the trainees are at the centre and miss a day only on account of illness. Parents rest assured that their wards are transported safely to and from the centre and that they are able to enjoy a fruitful day’s work at Diya

Parents are happy to have their burden lightened. Group bussing works out cost effective and the net cost to the trainee family comes down. Parents are happy to see their wards put in a day’s work at Diya and return home happy and content.
