Success Story

Rakesh was a student of Class XI at the Government School in Khera Khurd, Delhi. Rakesh was a student of Class XI at the Government School in Khera Khurd, Delhi. He got into the habit of seeing pornographic films and reading pornographic literature. This came to be his only way of knowing about reproductive and sexual health issues. Rakesh and his friend found themselves under pressure from peers to experiment and they even went to a commercial sex worker once.

One day, Rakesh and five of his friends came to know about a workshop that was being organised in their locality by CSI to give proper information on sexuality. Rakesh had been presented with a good opportunity to clear all his doubts regarding sexuality, especially about masturbation, and so he decided to attend this workshop.

After attending CSI?s workshop, Rakesh has now became aware about issues related to reproductive and sexual health. He has now taken up a mission for himself - to pass on his knowledge and share the information acquired by him on sexuality to others of his community. Today, he is a group leader who is making other people aware.
