Joseph Mano Milton a poor boy born in a family of 6, lives in a slum in Trichy district. Joseph Mano Milton a poor boy born in a family of 6, lives in a slum in Trichy district. His father suffers from cancer and is bedridden for 2 years now. His mother works as a sweeper. He has three sisters, one married and the other two working in a local phone booth. With the meager family income Mano could not pursue higher education.

New Life learnt of the boy’s pathetic condition his aptitude and willingness to study and get a decent job and support the mother who is now ill and not working. We got an application from Mano which was forwarded to a regular donor of the organisation. He has been readmitted to school.

Due to New Life’s intervention Mano has now completed his higher secondary education and is now in college. He is pursuing a degree in Literature.
