Bhabhor Paresh kadakiyabhai of Pavdi Ta Jhalod is a child with hearing impairment Bhabhor Paresh kadakiyabhai of Pavdi Ta Jhalod is a child with hearing impairment and was considered as with mental illness by the parents. He used to just sit in the house in a corner doing nothing. The parents did not know what to do with him as he could not speak or hear anything.

Our special teacher Mr Surmal Bhedi identified this child in the preliminary survey. With great efforts he could convince the his parents to get the medical certificate for this child and then our teacher admitted him in the normal school of the same village in Std 01. He started training and education with the help of the sign language and all educational material.

At present Paresh is in Std 8th and is able to understand all instructions by the teacher as well as the special teacher. He can read and write and with the help of speech training. With facial expressions and sign language he can make easy conversation with the special teacher. He takes part in the extra curricular activities in the school like sports, dance, drawing, and beauty contest as well.
