Mrs.Sowdeswari is an innocent victim of HIV from her husband; an industrial worker Mrs.Sowdeswari is an innocent victim of HIV from her husband; an industrial worker .She is the mother of a girl child. She become a widow and was deserted by all her relatives. She is very sick, on ART and unable to work. Life sustainability of mother and child has now become a question. Mrs.Sowdeswari started losing her eye sight

NMCT counseled Mrs. Sowdeswari and she was supported to get treatment for eye sight through advocacy with Arvind Eye hospital. Her daughter was admitted to a govt residential school. She is being given nutrition support monthly and also linked with local philanthropists for monthly expenses. She is also linked as a foster mother for an orphan Child from an AIDS affected family.

Her child is continuing her education. Mrs. Sowdeswari has recovered her eyesight. Her day-to-day food and shelter problem is taken care of by NMCT by collecting donations / linkages. She has developed an aspiration to live longer to take care of herself, her daughter and her foster son
