Success Story

Only child of a middle income group family suffers from Thalassemia Shikka, the only child of a family suffers from Thalassemia, a disease present from birth necessitating blood transfusion every month. The family could not afford the cost of transfusion on several occasions resulting in poor health of Shikka, loss of school days and depression. This is the juncture at which her family approached Jeevan for help.

Thanks to Barath’s donation for the Make Blood Free project Shikka continues to attend school with the dream of becoming a doctor.
