Success Story

Anupi, a teenaged girl, tragically lost her mother at the tender age of 2 Anupi, a teenaged girl, tragically lost her mother at the tender age of 2, and soon after her brother was killed by local village dacoits. An emotionally shattered Anupi was left to care for a very feeble and practically blind father. She was married young, her husband living mostly outside the village to bring home some basic income

Despite the reluctance of her husband, a defiant Anupi was one of the first girls to sign up with the newly introduced IIMPACT centre in Alwar district, Rajasthan.

Today a confident Anupi can read & write & manage her household accounts. She attends school regularly and is a quick learner. Her husband is still unaware of the fact that she goes to school after finishing house work. She is one of the few married girls benefitting from our quality education.Her education will surely provide future generations of her family a better life.
