If you are a UK taxpayer, for every pound that you have donated, GIVE UK can reclaim 28 pence from the IRS helping your donation go further. To Gift Aid donations, please register as a UK tax payer or modify your profile accordingly. When you make a donation, the system asks you whether you would like to GiftAid the donation or not. NULL Ashok (name changed)studying in Grade 6 in a government school, had a habit of stealing. His father is an alcoholic. Due to his stealing habit he used to get punishment in school. This hardened him further. The teacher was unable to pay individual attention to him.

The teacher referred Ashok to IDEA‘s counselor. She spoke to Ashok, paid home visits and identified the real problem. She also counseled the father who used to steal money from his wife. She advised the mother and teacher to be sensitive; he was enrolled in group activities.

Ashok is showing a lot of improvement. He is regular in school and is interested in studies. The group activities and various competitions channelize his energy into constructive work. There is improvement in his father’s behavior as well.
