Shree Mahaganapati Hospital set up a hospital in Titwala in October 2012 to offer quality medical care to people living in and around the area. Before the hospital started, the local populace had no secondary level health care hospital located around the villages due to which the death toll was on a high. During emergencies patients had to be transported to Kalyan outside Mumbai.

• The Hospital also brings in specialist consultants as and when required.
• The hospital caters to semi-urban, rural and tribal populations.
• Beneficiaries are benefited through free medical camps, free medicines and health education to maintain good health and hygiene.

Statistics

Saving Lives!
Mr. Madhukar Hazare, a 50 years old man was in a very critical situation. He was suffering from acute chest pain and inability to breath. His family members panicked and brought him to the hospital casualty department.
The patient was immediately attended by Dr. Sachin Patil (General Physician). An ECG was taken. The patient was immediately shifted into Intensive care Unit (ICU) and every thing was done to stabilize him. Dr. Sachin Patil gave the medication and thrombolization procedure was done. This resulted in stabilizing the BP and clinically the patient became stable. After two days of observation in ICU, the patient later shifted to general ward.
We were able to save one more life, which was a great achievement for us. The family members and the patient appreciated the quick efforts taken by the entire hospital staff in that critical situation. The doctor prescribed medicines for maintaining the health of the patient and provided the family tips and guidance to take care of the patient at home.
