If you are a UK taxpayer, for every pound that you have donated, GIVE UK can reclaim 28 pence from the IRS helping your donation go further. To qualify for Gift Aid, the income tax or capital gains tax you pay must at least equal the amount we will claim in the tax year. To Gift Aid donations, please register as a UK tax payer or modify your profile accordingly. When you make a donation, the system asks you whether you would like to GiftAid the donation or not. If you choose yes, we will reclaim GiftAid from the Inland Revenue.

Success Story

Nagalakshmi is the daughter of a very poor carpenter. Nagalakshmi is the daughter of a very poor carpenter. She had no opportunity to go to school and pursue her education. She spent all her day doing her own housework and working in other houses for money as well. At this point, fortune stepped in! Her father came to Child Aid Foundation inquiring whether the organisation had any carpentry work for him.

His carpentry work was good and he started getting regular at CAF. It was then that the father talked about Nagalakshmi. CAF gradually convinced him about the importance of educating his daughter. He could not afford to do so and requested CAF to help him. Due to CAF?s recommendation, she was given a free seat in the Montessori High School in Vijayawada.

Nagalakshmi is now a student of Grade 10. Child Aid Foundation has arranged for an NRI, Mr. Hitesh Reddy of Texas, USA, to sponsor all of Nagalakshmis educational expenses as long as she wishes to study! She holds the first rank in her class at present. After Grade 10, she plans to study intermediate and take the EAMCET examination.
