Success Story

NULL Ramana was born on February 2, 1993 in the small village of Totapuram in the Vijayanagaram district of the state of Andhra Pradesh. His mother died when he was very young. After her death, his father abandoned him! Ramana became a "village urchin", living and eating here and there. Future looked bleak for this young boy.

One of the villagers brought Ramana to CAF. Ramanas body looked extremely dirty with numerous sores. His clothes were filthy and in tatters. His teeth looked pale and dirty! He was thin and weak. Ramana was sent for treatment to a pediatrician and a dentist. He was taught to bathe, given two new sets of clothing and started on a daily nutritious diet.

He is presently studying in the 3rd standard of Child Aid Foundations "Shri Vijaya Bharati Upper-Primary School". Ramana will remain under CAFs care until he completes as much education as possible for him. Thereafter, he will go out into the world as an educated, confident, happy, and self-sufficient young man.
